At 11:30 AM, we distribute random numbers to determine the order in
which clients access the pantry. Early arrival doesn’t guarantee a lower
number. If you arrive after distribution of the random numbers, you will be
served on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive before 1:30 PM to
access the pantry.
Upon arriving, get your number and wait until it is called to register and
begin shopping.
Yes. We endeavor to offer the same groceries to every client, regardless of
family size. In most cases, to meet this goal we limit the quantity of certain
items a client can receive. We strive to offer the last client of the day the
same selection as the first.
Due to high demand and limited capacity, we sometimes have to cap the
number of clients served before closing time at 1 PM. Distribution of
numbers will stop at 12:45 PM. This time limit is subject to change, and
may be influenced by our staffing and supply levels.
Can I shop for others while shopping for myself?
No, IDs are not required to access the food pantry.
ï‚· We will ask for a name to check you in, but no proof of residency,
income, or citizenship is requested.
ï‚· We will also ask for the number of people being fed.
ï‚· We would like to know if children are in the household, and if they
attend our neighborhood Grout Elementary School.
ï‚· All paperwork is voluntary and you may choose to anonymously
access the pantry.
Since you will be outdoors, we encourage clients to dress for the weather
and bring a bottle of water. No restroom facility is available. We hope you
will bring a reusable shopping bag or two, and carts or other items to pack
and transport your groceries in. We typically have some boxes and grocery
bags available if you choose not to bring your own.
We can answer any other questions you have. Please email
